GLÄNTA

A monophonic synthesizer with a pattern-sequenced filter, pitch-shifting delays, and an eight-line reverb.

One DEPTH control takes the signal from dry to fully processed.

The Glänta interface
Free during development. macOS · VST3 & AU.

FEATURES

VOICE

Single oscillator with wavefolder, two-operator FM, and three-voice ensemble.

FILTER

A zero-delay-feedback filter that morphs from low-pass through band-pass to high-pass, driven by its own step pattern — any length, any clock division, or switched off to rest at the cutoff. A crossover keeps the bass anchored while the filter moves.

SEQUENCER

64 steps. Per-step pulse counts, gate modes (note, tie, ratchet, rest), velocity, slide, and a modulation value routable to cutoff, fold, pitch, or send. Scale-aware; a held MIDI note transposes the pattern. Or switch it off and play.

DELAY

Two cross-fed lines, with optional pitch shifters in the feedback path. Clean, tape, or dub loop models with wow and flutter. Freeze holds the loop at unity gain.

SHIFT

A dedicated pitch shifter standing between the delay and the reverb — the wet bus climbs or falls up to two octaves on its way through, and can feed itself into an endless stair. One switch reverses the whole chain: reverb first, echoes after.

REVERB

An eight-line feedback delay network with four modes: pool, glimmer (+12 st in the tail), cavern, wash. The tail ducks under each note.

MASTER FILTER

Low and high cut at the very end of the chain — clear the floor beneath a mix, or close the ceiling over it.

MODULATION

Two LFOs and two envelopes. Click a control to map one — sixteen slots, each with its own depth, all of it listed and edited in one line.

PRESETS

Comes with 130 presets — subs, kicks, percussion, plucks, leads, pads, drones, textures.
